with Barbara Hasson

Barbara is an Holistic Therapist who specialises in reflexology, aromatherapy, reiki and massage.

She works at the Guiding Light Centre in Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan every Wednesday from 10.00am until 2.00pm. She also works as a mobile therapist throughout the week. One day a week she acts as a voluntary Reflexologist at a Hospice for the terminally ill and also treats people with learning and physical disabilities at their homes.

She has been practicing holistic therapies since 1993 and first started looking into this type of healing when she suffered from depression. After exploring many types of therapies, Barbara started her training for Body Massage and Aromatherapy (including baby massage) at Sequoia Clinic, based in Cardiff and then went on to train to become a Reflexologist with anatomy and physiology. From then on she trained to Master Teacher level in Reiki and has attuned many people on an ongoing basis. She has also trained in Indian Head massage and Facial Rejuvenation with Kundan Mehta.

Barbara is a fully trained counseller, having completed a two year Certificate course in Counselling. She has also trained with Cruse Bereavement, going on to become a Grief and Bereavement Counsellor for their organisation.
